Our 3-hour Day Sails offer the perfect introduction for beginners and anyone curious about the sailing lifestyle.

On these hands-on trips, you’ll actively take part in the operation of the sailboat, from raising sails and taking the helm to trimming and adjusting lines. It’s a fun, relaxed way to experience the joy of being on the water while learning the basics.

RATES:

  • $225 per person + GST (5%)

  • Private Charter: $850 + GST (5%) (Up to 4 guests)

What to Expect

Hands-on sailing: you’re encouraged to steer, trim sails, and learn the basics

Small-group instruction: relaxed pacing with lots of time for questions

Wild west coast scenery: routes adapted to the day’s conditions

What to Bring

  • Warm layers (avoid cotton)
  • Waterproof/windproof outer layer
  • Hat + sunglasses
  • Water bottle
  • Non-marking shoes

Weather Policy:

Sailing is weather-dependent. For safety, the Skipper makes the final decision to run, modify, delay, or cancel a trip based on conditions such as wind, sea state, and visibility. If conditions are deemed unsafe, you will have the option to reschedule or receive a refund.
